I’ve been to this place before, It’s the Iwo Jima reenactment play at the WWII Museum in Fredericksburg TX. It’s been years but this whole reenactment and the live gun displays during it are still clean in my memory, was amazing to see.

For anyone confused they are probably using a cold flame or a makeshift propane flame. A propane flame is much more dangerous than a cold flame so they’re probably using a cold flame right here and maybe some simulated LEDs or something.

Alright, from a distance that looks really cool. But a fiery end is one of the worst ways to go. Napalm sticks to everything and everyone. So when it burns… it’s horrible. The stories that the operators of the Churchill crocodiles, or the US flamethrower Sherman’s, or the gut wrenching tales of the M1 and M2 flamethrowers…
