Lack of IBIS is a little bit of a bummer, but 10 bit video in a pacakge this small is definitely nice. Hope to see all this coming to a Z30 II soon.

Feature wise the z50ii ticks almost all boxes for me (not much bothered about IBIS )
But now I'm more confused..
I'm about buy my first camera. Should I invest in Z50ii or spend some more bucks to buy Canon R8 which is cheap full frame..? ( in India z50ii - 79k and R8 - 104k )
Can you please suggest one for photography...?

That part about colors being too blue... so that's a problem with Nikon, isn't it?

Not a bad little camera at all, and only $1249 CDN (Body only)...wish they'd put that tally light on the Z6III.

the addition of digital zoom for video is cool. damn, they need to add that to the zf. the zf is an amazing video cam too.

Man, hitting hard with the Underoath reference.... This camera looks nice. At the same time, I feel like now with the Canon R8 being a small & budget-friendly-ish full-frame camera, it makes these admittedly nice aps-c cameras at the $1k+ price a bit of a harder sell. I have the same thought with the Sony a6700 and Fuji cameras. That said, this Z50ii does seem pretty good! I like watching these videos because I used to live just outside the K/W area.

Total disappointment.
I have been a Nikon user for more than 10 years. I have a Z50 and have been using it for almost 5 years. Excellent camera!
I was thinking of upgrading it to the Z50 II... but it DOES NOT have IBIS and that, for me, is unacceptable in 2024.
Few native Z lenses in APS-C (the FTZ adapter should have been a "patch" for 2 or 3 years. Nikon, you no longer have excuses). And on top of that, a "new" camera without IBIS.
Decided to sell my Z50 and go to Sony (cameras with more features and IBIS) and a wide variety of APS-C lenses.
