Bro my algebra teacher taught me this concept some stupid hard way which made it so hard I flunked and now I watched this video and this way is so much easier and I can’t believe my teacher taught me that hard other way.

Mr Mario, at 5.07 you get an expression -(x-2)>4 and solve the expression by dividing both sides of the inequality by -1. From the algebratic context could not I just distribute negative one? In a regular algebratic scenario I would distribute the negative sign and solve the problem, but when its a absolute value inequality it does not work. Please explain this part of the problem.
