After 20 plus years of gout attacks - my experience:
Pharma provides serious side affects and does not stop the attacks.
Natural remedies are more effective than pharma - but not a cure.
Low fat/high carb diet provides no relief - possibly increases the attacks.
Avoiding high purine foods may be of minor help.
Keto diet stops the gout attacks, helps weight loss if overweight, lowers blood pressure and many other benefits.

Gout is not uncommon in our society.it occurs in male at early & in female Post menopausal age usually. It occurs in single unilateral large & lower limb joints.but why it affects great toe in 70percent cases. Still I don’t know.

What is about diet? What is about low dose Aspirin as a cause? ( written in Medicine books)Though you not mentioned this drug. As many people have to take Aspirin. Uric acid is water soluble. So patient must take plenty of water to flush out. Uric acid stone is Radiolucent so X-ray negative and USG positive.that creates a confusion of patient & even do repeated investigations .Even they do IVU. Still
They can’t be confident.A good physician is he who counsels the patient along with prescribing medicine.only counselling can cure the patient .This is from my real experience.i don’t want to make anybody bore more. Away from 2000miles.
