How Leadership Failures Led to an Assassination Attempt on Trump

Today, we're tackling something serious—the failed assassination attempt on former president and current candidate, Donald Trump. This isn’t about tactical errors by the agencies and teams on the ground, of which there were many. We're zooming out to see the bigger picture—how National Level leadership at the United States Secret Service and its parent organization, the Department of Homeland Security, has failed in their responsibility not only to the former President of the United States, but failed their officers and agents on the ground. We will talk about how Complacency, Incompetence, and Collusion are neither mutually exclusive, nor absolute. The failures I point out by those on the ground in Butler are failures brought on by a culture of mediocrity (I’m being very generous here…) that was sanctioned and endorsed by upper and top-level officials in the Federal Government. Their failures are a product of a system that has them overworked, undertrained, understaffed, and sadly, grossly under-skilled for the responsibility they carry leading to a catastrophic failure at all levels. If we follow the cause and effect of the bureaucratic failures, we see it trickle down to a close protection team who acted quickly and bravely but ultimately served only as a human shield. We see a counter sniper team member who came off the glass at the precise moment he needed to be applying backward pressure, local support that doesn’t understand the terms deadspace or line of sight, and a communications network that took at least 86 seconds to relay a threat that resulted in an attack on the principal. Once the pride of the Federal Law Enforcement, the United States Secret Service has deteriorated to an organization where mediocrity, equality, and inclusion have replaced speed, surprise, and violence of action in the protection of our leaders.

I have never seen a DEI hire in the form of a 5-foot female working security for Beyonce, Taylor Swift, or Rihanna. They are surrounded by men well over 6-feet-tall and are built like a wrestler. Since DEI has infiltrated professions that deal in life and death situations, shows that the preservation of life isn't a priority.

I am a civilian. When I first watched everything on TV. I couldn't believe my eyes on how unprofessional the security detail reacted to the attempt on President Trump. You just explained everything I was thinking. This should have never happened. I agree 100% on No President on either side should have this happen in our country, nor should any Real American wish Violence on our X President Elect or current President.
