Nathaniel's parents moving every 3 years in the last 30 explains so much about him in retrospect, haha

We've moved a lot, and I told a friend once I was worried maybe our daughter wouldn't feel grounded in a sense of place as she grew up. Sge would have a sense of adventure but I was also somehow cheating her of something.

He told me:

"Some families have roots, some families have wings."

Thanks for sharing your journey. ❤

Your mother is such a fricking MVP. I love how thoughtful and wise she is. And creativity off the charts. Cheers to your next mystery!

You are so lucky and I will tell you why. When you said “I came back to Paris knowing that there was a different way of life that I could be living” it hit me so hard. I have travelled to many places in Europe but going to Germany changed my life. Coming back to Greece where I live I wasn’t the same anymore. Every day I would imagine what my life would be like if I was living in Germany. And here comes the difference. You have your family and friends supporting you and a job that can be done remotely. Me on the other hand… I have a mum that needs me here at home because after the loss of my father, feels unstable and unsafe on her own. I can’t leave her she left everything to raise me and now it is time to pay her back I think. So travel and live places you want to live for you for me and for everyone else that can’t do it.❤

I can't tell what's more inspiring, your style of filmmaking, or your attitude of embracing and enjoying every aspect of life. I guess they're intertwined. All I can say is that your work leaves me wanting to step out of my routine and explore what life has to offer.
Welcome back, man :)

That country side looks like a dream to me. When you started playing the guitar and singing it became pretty clear: You don't have these talents, you ARE the talent. Your growth is wonderful to watch and I wish you nothing but the best. Let your soul wander and travel wherever its light and grace is heading to. 💫 much love

Wasn’t expecting that song at the end. This video really encapsulates a feeling of moving away from something. And that’s life, constantly changing and being called to different places.
Made me emotional lol

I've received your newsletter while crying at the end of your video. Two years ago I left my home country and have since moved two countries. I def couldn't have imagined what would happen to my life next. Everything turned out quite the opposite of any of my plans—the places I lived, the people I found and lost, the relationships I built and ruined, the issues I encountered and created, the jobs I changed. Two weeks ago I logged out of social media because I needed some peace and quiet. I couldn't hear myself, if that makes any sense. I was so tired of being trapped in thoughts about the right way to live, what others think of me, and whether I'm cool enough, that I decided to cut off the old version of myself (along with all the fake friends, old beliefs about myself, rigid 5 year plans, and other expectations) and try something new, to experiment and explore.

I am SO grateful for your digital presence in my life. Each time you remind me how exciting life is, even if it's unpredictable and painful sometimes. I've also started learning French, craving to work out, enjoying my own company more, listening to music more intentionally, and reading more. Thank you, Nathaniel! You are my favorite person on the internet. I wish you the best adventures :)
Love.

My wife and I have moved 3 - 4 year for the past 18 years. Always finding something new to love in our next destination. Keep pursuing what makes you happy and what helps you grow. Like some of your subscribers, our families think we’re are crazy for doing it but we aren’t living their lives, we are living our own.

Your parents are awesome. I just lost my dad and it sucks. Seeing the amount of support you get from them is heartwarming.

I wasn’t expecting to hear you sing for such a good part. I think the switch is real and i’m here for it. So gentle.

Nathaniel, you have no idea how badly I needed to see this. I'm in the middle of a massive change in my life (not by my choice, but due to changing circumstances), and this has given me the courage to embrace this change.

This is such beautiful and moving storytelling Nathaniel. I've been watching your videos since 2018 and it's been an honour to have been witness to your unique perspective on this world. It's also so poignant for me, as many of the themes in this video relate my life at this time. Go well and thrive, friend.
