The Complete Superintendent Chalmers Timeline: The Simpsons

In this video we look at the entire timeline of Superintendent Chalmers from The Simpsons. Created by Matt Groening and voiced by Hank Azaria, we look at Chalmer's history, his entire life story, his past and future. Watching every The Simpson full episode, I've put Chalmer's life in chronological order. From season 1 to the newest Simpson season. I look at his best moments with Seymour Skinner including the steamed hams meme. I also go into his father daughter relationship with Shauna.

We also look at the funny Simpsons moments from Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson. As well as other Simpsons characters from Springfield.

I remember hearing that Chalmers is apparently written to be the only character who can function normally outside of Springfield. Unlike Frank Grimes, Chalmers knows everyone is crazy, but he decides not to let it bother him too much, as he knows if he presses too much, he’ll go down a rabbit hole he’d never escape from, hence why he indulges in Skinner’s lies.

He's a popular secondary character. But I honestly believe without the "Steamed Hams" thing, he wouldn't have reached his current fame height.

I would never imagine that Superintendent Chalmers could be a very complex character, I believe Krusty is a complex character too

I can't help but laugh at all the times Chalmers yells at Skinner just for him to finally admit he likes the guy! Guess deep down, he really appreciates him! Man, I did love that episode when they finally expressed it!

it's worth noting that Rosemary Chalmers died during the course of the series. Chalmers mentioned in The Pranksta Rap that his wife is very ill.

it's also possible that that's why Shauna joined the Springfield Bullies.

Chalmers italian’s voice actor passed away two years ago. His "Skinneeeer" is memorable and I'm sorry he couldn't make “Road to Cincinnati” 🥺

Chalmers character is written in such an interesting way. I'm guessing he was just as uptight as principal Skinner at one point until he met Skinner and realized how much he hated being around him so he became a more gruff person. Dr. Hibbert or Kirk Van Houten timelines I think would be pretty fun.

In the episode “Pranksta Rap”, at the end of the episode, Chalmers had joined a rap group, whom are making fun of him. He tells skinner “I think they’re making fun of me, but my wife is very sick.” So Chalmers wife died sometime past Season 16, episode 9.

I remember that in Pranksta Rap, Chalmers had to put up with the humiliation just because his wife was sick and he needed the money. Only to find out later that she died. And even later that he has a rocky relationship with his daughter.
This man's life is falling apart, and yet he decides to give Skinner a hug and tell him that he likes the man.

Chalmers is a pretty good guy. He's one of the few people that can get through to Bart. Not to mention he taught Homer how to brew his own beer 🍺 and became his new drinking buddy.
