I'm lucky enough to live in a part of the US where you can find this in a few different shops around town. I lived in Argentina for a year and grew to love this stuff. More than drinking, it was a cultural thing. It's really cool tbh.

Each refill is about 3 sips long. This is usually drank in a group and each person drinks one "refill" then the next person drinks and so forth. If there are 5 people drinking during this video, each person only drank about 6 sips.

I have a friend from Uruguay that makes this tea, same cup and metal straw, it’s very refreshing and more-ish. I love it. It’s hard to find in Australia though.

Yes this is pretty common in some parts of Brazil as well, in the state of Mato Grosso they use cold water and call it Tereré while in Rio Grande do Sul state they use boiling hot water and call it Chimarrão
