I like the guidance for the discord channel. It doesn't need a hard and fast set of rules, just a good attitude and a calm head when disagreement does occur. There's a very good UK facebook board game group, which whilst it has a modest set of rules, rule #1 is the key one: "Don't be a d!ck".

I'd also recommend having a flat out block on discussing politics / socio-politics, as there are agitators who occupy the polar extremes, who revel in creating the other type of 'discord'. Given the divisive and confrontational nature of US politics at the moment, it's very much a danger to establishing a good community, and having to police such arguments may not be a good use of your time.

The brand refresh looks (and sounds) good, and I like the timing to coincide with opening up the discord channel.
