Ok, but what I'm wondering is, which house would they be in? I'm inclined to say one in Ravenclaw and one in Hufflepuff, just to have a little more good representation for those houses. They're both definitely smart enough in their own way and are clearly hard workers, so it would fit.



Frankly, I need to see some fanfiction for this, it sounds like it would be better than the original. Except maybe the Percy bit, as funny as that would be, he's too serious to use polyjuice potion to goof off.

Fred and George are secretly Alpharius of the Alpha Legion from 40k

With the Map in their possession, they have access to the common rooms of the other houses, so sometimes they just spend the night in one of the empty beds as Edward/Hubert. The amount of practical japery they can get up to, pin on a made-up sibling, and watch as people furiously provide evidence of that sibling existing.

Come Harry's 4th year, and the Yule Ball, though, each quadruplet has a date, and they have to levy Hermione's help to help disguise their outfits for quick change of sibling. Fred leaves Angelina to go to the punch bowl, a quick transfiguration spell on his hand-me-down dress robes later, and Edward rocks up to Pansy for their first dance.

I gave up on the series back when the last two books weren't even out yet because I thought the writing had taken a nose-dive after the third one, but this, this is the kind of whimsy that would make me bother to pick up the series again.
