The Pilatus PC-12 has a lavatory, separate cargo compartment, a much heavier useful load and is built to land on unpaved airstrips so it can be flown to more airports than any other plane in its class. You have more legroom and the seats recline. Plus you can change the seating configuration and remove the seats to carry more cargo if needed. The utility of the PC-12 outmatches that of TBM-960. It’s just my opinion but I think you’re trying to compare a full size SUV to a sports car. The PC-12 a Chevrolet Suburban and the TBM 960 is Porsche 911. One is built for comfort and utility and the other is built for luxury and speed.

Also, the TBM has a larger personal baggage compartment is questionable. The cargo area of the PC-12 swallows the TBM claim of having more baggage capacity than the PC-12.

I don't think the length of the video supports the question of asking what is the best prop-jet/turbo-prop. Also, while these planes are similar in appearance they are miles apart in mission profiles. The Pilatus PC-12 as other commenters stated just has more utility. The answer to the question depends on the mission profile of owner-pilots. And a longer more detailed video is more appropriate to do a proper compare and contrast. This looks like a new channel, so good start and best wishes.

Your forgot to mention the big cargo door on the pc12, I see. People place to dirt bikes inside the pc12

Highlighting that the PC-12 can fly farther than the TBM without refuelling when the advertised range difference is only 70 nautical miles is an absurd statement. Should you find yourself accounting for 70 nautical miles in your long distance mission flight planning, you may want to reassess your overall flying abilities, airmanship and safety. In this particular example one should simply assume the same range for both aircraft with a significant advantage in cruise speed to the TBM. Moreover and as @hawkeye881 has already stated, the 2 aircraft are not destined to the same use: the PC-12 being an outstanding SUV and the TBM somewhat of a sporty station wagon.

The only real thing these two have in common - they use the same engine manufacturer.

Some specs are close. But they have different missions.

The PC12 is used as a medical evacuation platform. To my knowledge a TBM 9## has never been used for this.

Soft field landings, Lav, more payload and passengers....! TBM is faster. But not by much over the average 500 mile mission distance of these aircraft

A quick look at sales figures and who buys each aircraft, reveals everything.

They’re two different aircraft. The PC-12 is a significantly larger aircraft that can carry a lot more but is more expensive while the TBM is a significantly faster aircraft.

Stop putting out useless unresearched material. You know nothing about these planes.
