Trick On How To Hem Pants That Have Been Tapered!

Working on quick tips for you guys to learn tailoring techniques without long tutorial let me know your thoughts.

This video covers how to hem a pair of pants that are too slim to fold up without creating a bunch of puckering. It's a very easy and straight forward sewing tutorial for all my young tailors.

This is great! I was trying to hem pants that my teacher had tapered and I could not figure out for the life of me how to stop it from puckering. I spent about 45 minutes on one leg before I gave up and had to have her do it for me. It took her less than a minute 🙃

Yeah, I would just unpick the side seam where needed -as little as possible and then hem the pants 🤫🤫- i tried heming pants with a tapered leg once for my dad, not fancy going out pants but it sucked.
I just stiched the hem up the side seams, then used stick on velcro dots for the front and back...
He only needed tem for one night, and he said the velcro survived a few washes

Needs must... now I have more sewing experience, I would probably unpick the side seam... i didn't think of that bck then... i was younger prettier and less smart 😂😂😂
