The Life and Legacy of Father Jorge Ortiz-Garay

The church community in the Brooklyn Diocese is mourning the loss of a beloved pastor, Father Jorge Ortiz-Garay. When the native of Mexico City came to the diocese, he was put in charge of the Mexican apostolate. At the time, it had only 300 people. Now, there are more than 3,000 - each and every one of them will always remember him. We will continue to pray for Fr. Jorge and his family during this very difficult time.
