We live in Japan. School kids still do this if one of their friends gets sick. They thread them too but always stack them tightly. I met the guy who folded the origami for blade runner when I was 16 years old in the UK. This kicked off my origami habit. I was once kicked out of a club for doing origami because they thought I was rolling something. Had to fold a swan in front of two huge angry looking bouncers before they'd believe me so I could get back in. Your cranes looked great and it's awesome that you are using your channel to put some love back into the world. You rock!

Did this with a group of people every break in my grade 5 class with our librarian after we read a book called 1000 paper cranes. Our cranes started out awful and then just got better.

My heads and tails urn out bad cause I keep messing up the boat step, making my crane slightly crooked.
