As far as the studio version of this solo goes, this is easily the best cover on YouTube I've ever seen, absolutely mind blowing, finally a real guitar player and true fan of the craft. No bullshit, no stupid intros, just great playing and tons of passion for guitar, liked and subbed!

Was David Gilmour not having a most excellent day on the guitar when he came up with this Solo. It's literally everything you should do in a solo. It's melodic and gentle during the first solo. Then switches to minor in the second. The bends are deep with expressive vibrato. The descents are rhythmic triplets that mimic drum tom toms. There is a section were he is muting and pounding double stops and then he acends to the high soaring bends. Then descends back to box 1 for resolution.

There are a lot of fast technical guitarists out there but Gilmour can touch your soul.

I have watched a million covers of this Solo. This is really one of the best out there. You are such a great player and I have learned so much from your videos. I come here to learn how it was done on the recordings and you always deliver.

With that said nobody can play it like Gilmour. There is magic in his fingers. May he live a long long time cause there is no one quite like him. A Master.

This solo and the solo from Stairway to heaven always get me right in the heart - they never get old.

I’ve said it before. I’ll say it again. Your perfection and accuracy is amazing. Someday. I keep telling myself. Someday.

I've commented on your outstanding playing before, and I must say, this is my favourite solo of all time, so when you ACE it like that, man....it sent shivers down my spine! David Gilmour would be proud, brother! The way you play, and go through the instruction part, it's amazing to me there's EVER a "dislike". Once again, I had to "pipe in" on how awesome of a player you you are that, a true PLAYER! Cheers! 👍🍻

God Damn you are good.
That was completely nailing David Gilmour.
I wish I had your talent.

The power in this solo is the restraint David uses and you capture that perfectly.

yes, you really are the most superb player on YT.I have watched and learnt quite a few amazing things from these beautifully tailored lessons. But in all honesty, as others have also commented on this particular "tune", the performance is stunning man.

One of the tightest if not the tightest version of that I've seen on youtube. Been watching CN solos since youtube began.
