Inoue unified all four belts in '23 and that's off the heels of notching undisputed in '22. Meanwhile it took Bud five years to make the Spence unification without facing another reigning champ during that entire time-- and it was his only fight of the year with Bud fighting on a 1 fight schedule for the past 4 years. Simply put, Inoue has the multiple top wins along with the career momentum.

Inoue is fighter of the year for me although I am a big fan of Bud and had him as fighter of the year right up till Dec 26th. The winners in 2023 were the fans though. Much better year for boxing that was 2022. Looks like 2024 could be even better still if the right fights can get made.

For me its Inoue for the fighter of the year. He beat immediately two unified champions after he moved up with his weight and he dominated them. Crawford had huge win but Spence after the car crash seems to be more slower and probably has some kind of brain damage. In Ugas fight he was reaching for his mouth peace and get punched and he is even speaking more slower and strange than before the car crash. Not taking this win from Crawford but Innoue was going up with his weight and becomed undisputed in one year.

YES. Stop hating. The 1 fight Crawford DOMINATED was more important than any other fight or fight(s) that happened in 2023. The only argument that is credible is Inoue, MAYBE Devin Haney.. Fighter of the Year to me is Terrance Crawford, if not than Inoue or Haney.

Fighter of the year obviously was Naoya Inoue... You have to take into account the fact that he unify two divisions in one year. Terrence fought the fight of his life, I get that, but Fighter of the Year should be someone that achive more on a CV. Maybe you should have given another kind of award for Terrence, like... Best Dream Fight of the Year.
