I used to be so scared of police K9 dogs when I was a kid. Now being an adult I think they're freaking awesome! The police k9 dogs in our county are the nicest dogs I have ever encountered. And smart as holy hell too

The police officers need to be as fit as their K9 partners. Some need to hit the gym or they won’t keep up. This is necessary for the safety of the dog.

The one thing I hate is when they cant control there dog. When I go out with my service dog. I dont know that there is a police dog in the mall. There is no sign or anything. So when I go walking around and turn the corner there was a police dog there and the second it look at my service dog it tried to attack him. My service dog looks at me for a command. The officer is yelling at me to get my dog away. As I am walking away my service dog is still looking at me and is calm. I turned around and told the officer that if he cant control his dog then he shouldn't be a K9 officer.

If people payed attention they would notice that the K9s are wagging their tails constantly even while tackling someone.

Where is this located exactly?
I’m fifteen and I want to become a k9 officer, I was wondering if someone would train me in k9 training?Not exactly to become a police officer but just general k9 training so when I eventually get there I will have some experience under my belt.
