Synth Alien - Sensory Player

For what is essentially built using some of the most simplistic musical structuring, where new lines basically start and stop without accompanying crescendos, build ups, effects etc; the fact that this track sounds as great as it does highlights a couple of key production values.

There are obviously no rules to music creation, that is why we see everything from free-form jazz, to abstract drone, to gabba, to folk, deathmetal, hip hop, opera, soundtracks and so on... There are a ton of instrumentalists out there using their instruments in adept and experimental ways to achieve a wonderfully broad range of sounds from just the one instrument. When it comes to electronic music, the possibilities for finely tuning a sound are exponentially more numerous and consequently more labourious. This is a subtle example of one of those tracks where it is evident that that little extra time has been taken in the detail of the sound, with the added confidence in melodic composition it's a gem of a track and a powerful combination of production skills.
