Sea of Thieves: Improve your Aim and never miss a shot [FLINTLOCK]

There are a few standard Pistol Classes in Sea of thieves, and each class has at least a few different skins. Being a Cosmetic based game, progress does not grant you stronger guns, just more bling.

Not all guns are equal, due to different pistol models, the shooter perspective differs from one to another. This analysis will cover common pistols and a few limited ones that I own, including ways to improve your accuracy. I will take the base version of each class since higher ones just differ in color.

I use the Ferryman pistol. Best pistol in the game imo. It has a nice point/spear for great shooting

I adore the Ebon Flintlock. I almost never miss! It’s helped me secure numerous far-away kills or shots into crows nests! :)

When I'm sailing between two destinations, I always stand on the deck and aim for the bell on top of the mast with the pistol. That little "ding" is so satisfying.

After using the Hunter Flintlock for so long i kinda like the "aim slightly lower" due to it not obstructing my target whilst tracking it. Practice Practice Practice.

Thank you for those tips, very useful, even though i havent gotten any of those guns yet because of how plain they are, maybe thats why we keep losing attacks. My husband and i have been playing for a little over a month and we both love it, but we have some terrible luck on the sea with encounters! Seems like everyone attacks us no matter what and weve run into 2 people so far that were actually friendly.

Interesting to note here that you seem most interested in pistols whose point of impact seems to line closely with the point of aim. In real life we are taught 'line of white' where essentially you aim at the belt to hit center mass instead of aim at center mass to hit center mass. I've been using the Mercenary pistol but may swap to the Hunter as in your demonstration it seems to line up most with what you would expect with real iron sights

Phuzzy, this is my first comment on one of your videos. I have watched several of your sea of thieves videos and guides, and I found them all very helpful. Thank you for taking the time to put them together.
My favorite pistol has always been the mercenary due to it actually having a site. Thank you for validating my choice.

This video honestly did help me a boatload. With a model I was comfortable with (the beautiful Wild Rose Flintlock from Duke) and a bit of practice, I’m making some incredible shots. I can even make an oncoming gunpowder barrel skeleton drop his cargo with relative ease, and have had a few compliments from crew mates. Some even asked if I was using an Eye of Reach!

Thank you for the good guide. I already play the game a while now, and I often use flintlock. Sometimes in ship to ship combat I use blunder bus bc I want to defend the ladders. But flintlock is the best.
