It is a real shame for "Italian" football. I mean, honestly, can we really call Calcio or Serie A Italian anymore? Where is the Italian-ness when a provincial village club is owned by a foreign tobacco company and their coach is Spanish and they are signing lots of foreign has-beens who are looking for a final big payday and some game time? Looks like the smaller clubs are just following the trend set by the bigger clubs, most of whom have foreign ownership and players and hardly anything that is really and truly Italian left in them. We all know Calcio as we knew it and how it always was, was ruined when the Italian owners sold them to foreign investors who have no real interest in Italy or it's Calcio heritage, but see it as nothing more than an economic opportunity to make a quick profit. But at what cost to Italy's beautiful game?

Maybe with foreign investment, you will have better academies and better youth players. That's How english players got actually good, not the overhyped dream team flukes.

Pau lopez is trash… luckily for them the negotiation fell through and now they will take Audero, stronger and younger (he also has Indonesian origins like the owners)
