Correct me if I’m wrong, but one of the main reasons Como signed Ali Jasim was likely due to his performance in the World Cup qualifier match between Indonesia and Iraq. Ali really stood out in that game, and his attitude was exceptional. Even though Indonesia lost, Ali won the hearts of many Indonesians, including me. His social media got flooded with heartfelt commenrs of fellow indonesian. It’s possible that the Hartono brothers noticed this and saw something special in him.
