This video explains the theology of the Assumption of Mary and arrives at the following conclusions.

1. The doctrine of Assumption, like that of Trinity, Incarnation, Mary Mother of God, etc, are teachings consistent with biblical revelation.

2. Mary truly was assumed (i.e., was taken up body and soul by God) into heaven as a privilege God gives special persons like Enoch and Elijah.

3. Scientific (archaeological) research has not been able to find the remains (bones of Mary), although her burial site has been discovered. Historical facts have it that NOBODY knows the whereabouts of the ark of the covenant. Like the ark of the covenant built by Moses in Exodus disappeared in history, so also, the remains of Mary is nowhere to be found till today!

4. There's a strong relationship between Mary and the ark of the covenant. After 400 years that the ark of the covenant had not been seen, John of Patmos sees it in a vision revealed to him, and after the ark of covenant was shown to him, the vision of Mary follows immediately:

Revelation 11vs19-12vs1-2:
¹⁹Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and a severe hailstorm.
12 ¹A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. ²She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.
