A young Protestant man recently attended Franciscan University’s Defending the Faith Conference.
For some time, he had been contemplating, studying, and praying about becoming Catholic. He was almost ready, but there was one remaining obstacle: the dogma of Mary’s bodily assumption.
Why was this Marian dogma a stumbling block for him?

He said, “I just can’t find enough biblical evidence to support it.”

Thank you, that was really well researched and presented. I made me think about when Jesus was in the womb, Mary and He were sharing the same body, that alone makes her so special and worthy to be in heaven without judgement. She had her judgement before she was born somehow in God's ultimate creation story... May we all pray to her today and everyday, especially with the special weapon of the Rosary.
