This is long but fast and furious. It contains a real mixed bag of vehicle repairs, 1600 electric miles, charge point providers, electric taxis, a very hot battery and some of the finest hospitality you'll find anywhere!! It also shows why you just don't need a diesel van anymore!

Please don't apologise! Your content is superb, it's hard enough doing a job without using a camera. I am learning so much about ev's thanks to your channel. I love the content and the customers giving you free food and allowing you to use their chargers.
Regards, Mark from N.Spain.

I quite enjoy these service videos, it's nice to see how you make customers EV experience that much better.

Thanks again James. My brake vibration also disappeared with the brake service. That 1 pad must have been the cause. Top Man 👍👍

Thank you for showing this is 100% doable and offering this service. More will follow (hopefully for the EV community), but you're definitely showing the way. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Very interesting video, of a hard working man and a van that's doing what it is supposed to do! Heart warming to see how welcoming people are, especially in Scotland.
Isn't it a disadvantage that the E-NV200 can only use ChaDemo? Most newly built chargers are CCS-only right?

I like watching your Scottish grand tours! I lived there for 15 years and it’s a pleasure to see the old place and hear you massacring their names!

I don't think I could ever live in Scotland. The people are so warm and friendly and bring so much food to people I would practically feel obligated to remodel their homes after every visit just to reciprocate their kindness. Thanks for taking us along for the journey, James! Have you ever considered fitting a dashcam to the van both for insurance purposes and also to get some awesome 4K shots of the Scottish countryside on those long journeys?

Great video James! As an ex gas fitter and plumber, I'd recommend you wear knee pads or something similar to protect your knees. Even if you don't suffer with them now, you will later in life. Look after your knees please.

I hope you enjoy making more of this type of video in future. Good stuff, this! I was absorbed with this subject and format! Well done!

What a great engineer and all round honest man. I watched your video yesterday about testing your MG for work and why you have changed to it because it works for you on price, reliability and mileage. We have two EV’s a new 40 kWh leaf had it almost 3 years, and then got a Zoe second hand with 28, 000 for my wife, we have solar and charge from home on the Zappi. So these videos that you have done has achieved two things one a new subscriber to your channel and a customer for our cars. Bob from Gillingham Kent England.

Thanks again for coming to do our LEAF (1st job), will definitely be using you going forward for both of our EVs. Genuinely nice guy, great company. I replaced both rear springs the day after you were here.

Admire your honesty when it comes to what customers need and don't need done to their cars.

Knee pads are not so useful I find but a good thick closed cell pad (as in gardening ) works well for me and my knees. Just chuck it down where you need it and pick it up when you're done.

I love this sort of content, you can see why VW with all their actual car building knowledge is keeping drums on the rear of their EV’s even though a lot of the car journalists are slating them for it.

I suspect there is a competition to see who wins the refreshment stakes when they see you coming on YouTube.

Thoroughly enjoyed your trip to Scotland. Shows what a great people the Scots are with their hospitality. You have even got me thinking of getting a small electric car as a second car. Will follow your efforts on this channel. Well done 👍🏻

That was a tense ending and a battery condition cliffhanger. I won't know what to watch, the next episode of Bosch or your next road trip. Really enjoyed it, thanks.

MG will be the next big taxi, I work for a cab company, and we run octavia's, we tried a Leaf, but it didn't have the range (2016) but the MG will win on cost of vehicle in the end

Great Video James, after your weeks loaner of an MG5 I went and had a test drive for business use, I have a Fire and Security installation company, was so impressed I picked one up a week later, had it 2 weeks now and so far the car is performing great. Still waiting on a Transit Custom/Connect sized van with over 200 miles real world range (been looking at the Peugeot), carrying steps, ladders and a pile of tools and kit they need to be, we aren’t in your fortunate position of being able to get a charge from clients and I don’t want them sat at charging stations during the day, I want my service guys to get around all their calls and just charge at home at night, you can’t always guarantee a rapid is nearby for a lunch break charge but with all the new rapid charging points going in at places like McDonalds hopefully this isn’t too far away from being a thing. And James, get some knee pads matey!!

I absolutely love these videos. You have my dream job fixing EV's and getting paid for it! I'm a ZE1 owner from Brisbane, Australia! Our winter is a Scottish summer. Today it was 22C. I haven't done any huge trips yet so I wonder how my leaf will go on fast chargers.
