1. How do you choose your suture material? Size? Absorbable vs non-absorbable?
2. Can you describe when you use deep stitches? And how you put them in?
3. At what point would you decide to perform a repair in the OR instead of the ER?
4. Do you use antibiotics?
5. What do you use to irrigate a wound?
6. What are some of the more challenging areas to repair?

Why in India plastic surgery is not so popular

How can we practice basic surgical skills by ourself? Why i am asking this is that there are many medical colleges who are not having good funds and coz of that many students does not get the chance to practice basis skills like suturing, removing sutures...for these students if there are any suggestions than it would be of great help.
