Ive got the 4k eufy and i can't complain. A good few of my friends and neighbours have eufy. They don't complain. No extra fees, no replacing batteries etc. I would definitely recommend it over the Ring brand.

I replaced my Nest doorbell with this Eufy doorbell two days ago. I loved everything about it except the lack of blue LED halo light around the doorbell button that illuminates when motion has been detected. It's quite challenging to locate the button mostly during the night even when the top and bottom LED lights are illuminated. It makes people press the camera by mistake instead of the correct button. The blue LED halo light around the button of the Nest doorbell I replaced with this doorbell automatically illuminates when a motion was detected. I know the light existed because it works during setup but may not be intended to work with motion detection or when someone presses the button. I wonder if you have figured out if there are mysterious setting(s) to solve this.

I got one. It sensed motion for the first day and then nothing. They said it was defective and sent me a new one. Same thing again. Big pain in the butt. I just wanted a good motion detection camera. This one is 140$. I figured you get what you pay for so went with this one. Very unimpressed.

I would consider checking the eufy past before using their products. They lied about storing footage locally & was not securely protected. They also tried to hide it when it came to light.
You may be okay with the history but it's worth pointing out to check the track record of any security products that you plan to use.

They might be alright if you get one that works properly, thought I'd get the E340 as an upgrade to the single lens 2k version, what a joke, If you live on a fairly busy road, expect about 15 days battery, the 2K doorbell managed 6 weeks, some nights about 20+ motion alerts when theres nobody there or any motion, you can't switch off any motion, only OFF, standard IR, or add the lights, probably last about 5 days if you use the lights, changing sensitivity makes no difference, it just makes it freeze more, when it randomly freezes it picks up nobody at all, even if you stand right in front of it waving, it picks up nothing, its rubbish, you have to play about with all the settings and push bthe doorbell to get it to become active again, then make sure you only buy from an official Eufy outlet, otherwise they don't want to know, what classes as official I don't know but they'll try and worm their way out if they can, 1 in 5 parcels get registered, even if they are large, doesn't matter.

I'm glad your happy with yours, but after owning 2 different doorbells now, I'll never buy a Eufy ever again, they can be that poor, several other non subscription products available at a lot better price, read the reviews, I'm not the only person to have had a poor one and they have got rid of their Eufy as well for similar problems .

It seems that the Eufy is basically useless if you don't connect it to the internet, which is not something I'd be comfortable with after they were found to be not handling the data properly.

I am not sure that is AI as much as basic pattern recognition algorithms. But still a cool review. :)

Compared to your existing camera the field of view looks more narrow (on your old doorbell I can see the second roof top on the left)

Do you know what the field of view is of both cameras? 110/130/150/160/180 degrees?

Is there a difference of field view between the upper and lower camera for the new doorbell?
