I have been using Eufy products to secure my house for the past several years so when Eufy contacted me about upgrading my doorbell of course I was onboard! The new Eufy E340 includes a dual camera setup so you can see the person at your door and also monitor packages on the ground with the package guard featrue. This is the first doorbell I have seen with a dual light system for color night vision which is able to capture full color video at night or in dark places. My favorite part about the Eufy E340 is that it comes with built in storage and requires no subscription fee. In this video we compare the Eufy E340 Video Doorbell to the Ring Video Doorbell 4.

I have the s330 doorbell, 2 s330 cameras in front and 2 cam pro 2k in the back. It has been a great setup with only a few bugs. I would highly suggest eufy.

I had an e340 but it was so buggy and not performing right, even at max sensitivity and set to detect people, it still wouldnt pick people up i cluding myself dancing around right in front of it, yet it would alert me to dogs outside the motion activity zone i set 😅. The lens also fogged up inside sometimes, and the battery was horrendous in colder temperatures, lasted 4 days on a full charge when it was below 2°c, yet my cheap ring doorbell soldiered on fine through even -5°c.
So sending the e340 back (after like a month of junping through hoops and showing proof of faults) and had considered changing to an s330 as i saw that has radar as well as PIR, but the e340 only has PIR, so eondering if the s330 has better motion detection.
Not sure whether to try another e340 or switch to s330, or go back to ring.

Got an s350 indoor camera looking out back window which i love (except for it alerting me to absolutely nothing like its seeing ghosts sometimes, and recording birds flying past so i have 99+ recordings each day), and a homebase 3, and i still have my old ring setup with a video doorbell 2, indoor cam 2nd gen, and a chime pro 2nd gen. Ring hadnt let me down once, it was the subscription fee that put me off staying with them, £80 for the year.... I got the eufy setup on black friday sales for like 40% off in total.

I know it's a ring comparison but since you said it replaced you s330, what are your impressions on the e340 vs s330? Any improvements or updates to warrant the upgrade? Thanks

I've read that if you wire the doorbell camera it can't connect or be used with the 340 home base. Is this correct? Does it only connect to the home base if you use it wireless, which means it doesn't sound with your existing doorbell chimes?

How is the WearOS integration on the Eufy? I've got a Samsung watch 5 pro, and I don't like just the text notifications from my nest doorbell. I'd much rather have a short video preview, like the ohone notifications.

Eufy is superior to Ring in almost every way. Battery Capacity is 3-4 months if living in an apt like me, but it's replaceable so just have a spare to swap. The package camera is without peer. If you're going Wired it has no weakness at all except for lack of preroll but the second camera makes it worth it.
