And the end of Magent Magent can be not only a callback to the Kars' end but also to the Anubis' one, in fact they are both trapped in the bottom of a river. And probably Rina is a callback to the name Erina, but I'm not sure about this.

You forgot possibly my favorite call back, was the panel when Lucy brought Diego's head wrapped in a cloth to AU Diego's body similar to how Wang Chan brought Dio's head from the rubble of his castle. Where in part 1 is was to keep Dio alive while the other in part 7 was to kill him.
