Frequency | Effects and Plug-ins Included in Cubase

The Frequency equalizer plug-in is an eight band parametric EQ. There are many VST effects and plug-ins in Cubase, and Frequency is the flagship EQ. It’s a linear phase EQ, which analyses the audio and removes any phasing issues. A comprehensive, accurate display of the frequency spectrum makes equalizing notes fast and intuitive in this plug-in. The versatile controls allow you to apply very precise filters to the low end and high end, and the equalizer bands can be adjusted in a variety of ways. Each frequency band can be set to provide stereo EQ, mid equalizer or side equalizer, allowing great flexibility for tuning the entire sound field. You can also type in a musical note to find its frequency, making this exceptional equalizer even easier to use.

FrEQuency was a great addition to the cubase native FX roster. It’s almost as good as Fabfilter Pro Q3. Not as good, but damn close & impressive for a native EQ within a DAW. If it had dynamic filters & autogain, cubase users wouldn’t even need Pro Q3.

It would be amazing to have native modulation options built in, or even a better method of using MIDI inserts to modulate stock plugins in Cubase. The auto LFO desperately needs an invert polarity button for modulation & better routing options to send MIDI data to specific FX parameters in the insert rack. It would make things like sweeping notch filters on a bass so much more fluid than creating a new midi track for every parameter with its own modulation source

It's really excellent equalizer. Also I'd like to add in it several band curves, I mean more or less slope. Currently we have it only in filters. Also possibility to select and move several frequencies would be nice. But what can make it amazing - it's adding DYNamic EQ feature! Cheers

Frequency is a seriously awesome surgical EQ.
I'm curious. How heavy is it on CPU?
Anybody know?
I especially would love to see a comparison list of Frequency CPU load compared with popular 3rd party plugin equivalents... Anybody know if anyone has already done this comparison?

Great. But I can not find Frequency plugin in my Cubase Artist 10. In my Audio Inserts I only find equalizers Curve, DJ, GEQ-10, and Studio EQ. But no Frequency. Should I have it ? Where could I find it ? Thanks.

RESET button doesnt seem to work ? and no default preset is selectable or easy init patch. And linear phase ON / OFF very hard to distinguish
