Thank you, Dr. Burkey. I really enjoyed this explanatory video. I am currently a doctoral student and have never seen the fulcrum illustration regarding averages. What an excellent way to gain an understanding of its practicality! Thank you, again. All the best to you.

hello i want to know why do we have to know the mean, median, minimum, maximum, variance and the standard deviation? it helps with what? what it will gives me if the mean for x1 for example equal to 11.4 or 117.6 and the mean for x2 is 1.9 and the standard deviation fo x4 is 117.2 or the minimum is 0.000 and the maximum is 119.8? what difference does it make to know these things? is it just to organize our data or we can conclude something from it?another question occurred when i watch your video can we know about the outliers if we just compare between the mean and the median without drawing a graph as you did? i really need to know this answer.
thank you
