I saw the eclipse in 2017 and one thing that i will never forget was the shadows of thousands of tiny eclipses cast off the trees onto the sandy ground. Looking up was amazing but also looking down was so unforgettable. Their is a name for these 1000's of tiny eclipse shadows but it escapes my mind at the moment

An incredible experience, one of weirdest feelings i ever felt when i seen the 2017 eclipse.. in the middle of the day it was nighttime twlight a very strange and eerie feeling but in a very very good way the crickets starting chirping and the glow was unreal. The Earthshine lit portion of the Moon is not visible from space, neither is the red of what we call a Blood Moon.
