Corbyn: I AM NOT POWERLESS

Jeremy Corbyn. may have defied Labour to hold Islington North at July's general election as an independent candidate – but what does it mean to be
an independent MP? He has no big party support or machinery to help.

He says he is staying accountable to his constituents partly by creating new 'people's forums' – debates where he hears residents' views and he tells them what he's been doing at parliament.
Will it work?

Isabel Loubser went to the first session in Islington to see if Mr Corbyn, shunned by the party he once led, really can make things change outside Labour's infrastructure.

Thanks to the people of Islington north we still have Jeremy in the house I have always voted Labour but not this time I could not vote for a party that did everything they could to stop Jeremy from winning the election he had a great manifesto and given the chance he would made a great Prime Minister better than Starmer will ever be

I sent Jeremy Corbyn a whole speech about Peace, he was interested for about 1 email exchange, he seemed to lose interest. For all of humanity, Peace lies within us all, we just need to discover how to go within and know who we are. The trouble with all these guys, every talks, nobody listens, a bit like a cocaine party!
