The Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries has backed the Prime Minister this evening saying he would ‘absolutely’ win a no confidence vote if one was held following the publication of the Sue Gray report into Downing Street Parties.

Speaking on TalkTV’s The News Desk, Dorries slammed critics and Boris Johnson's detractors within the Conservative party saying: ‘What the nation doesn't need is a navel gazing party and a leadership crisis in the middle of some of the most important and difficult challenges we've ever faced as a nation.’

In the interview the Culture Secretary also claimed the PM could not have known about all of the events in Downing Street due to the size of the building, and asserted that some of his critics in the media ‘are determined to remove the Prime Minister’ due to him delivering on Brexit.

Get back under your rock with the rest of the Johnson apologists.
The man is not fit for office and should be in prison, not Parliament, for what he's done to the people of this Country.

Sadly an apology is completely meaningless as the as the act has happened already. As for removing restrictions if it wasn't for the partygate scandal they wouldn't have removed the restrictions and definitely not without the rather inconvenient war in Ukraine causing distraction. The government have a lot to answer for and to be forever remembered for and non of it good.

He CAN'T win his dedication to the country, by continuing messing up at every turn!!?
All HIS staff, under HIS control, continue to mess up!
He, himself, can't place his cap down, and say... "Ok, I messed up, more than I should. Therefore I should do the decent thing, and resign"!?
The WHOLE country would respect him more, if he were to do this!
Now, the people of this great country would push for a NATIONAL HOLIDAY if he resigned!!!?
