If you think this is mind blowing, our full interview with Evan “Kidd” Bogart has some of the craziest stories in music. He not only talks about this song, but he talks about how he discovered Eminem, how he wrote Beyoncé’s halo, as well as some of the biggest songs of all time!

I have been saying this for years. I'm glad I have a video as a literal "I told you so"

I love when songwriters do this, One Direction's song Better Than Words is made up of a ton of love song titles and I always thought it was clever how they worked them together. Gonna have to give SOS another listen now!

I love this. Totally explains why they went with such a strong 80's sound for that song

I knew it! I love 80's songs. One of my first CD's was 80's hit mix. This is so cool!

The bridge of "A Teenager in Love" by Dion & the Belmonts (#5, 1959) mentions three song titles that were on the charts the same month the song was released: "I Cried a Tear" by LaVern Baker, "Nobody But You" by Dee Clark, and "The Lonely One" by Duane Eddy ("I cried a tear for nobody but you. I'll be a lonely one if you should say we're through"). Those three songs faded into obscurity though, so nobody today realizes that they're quoting three contemporary hits.

One direction did something similar with their song 'Better than words'
