Cirrus SR22 - Super Cross Country - 3000 Miles 20 hours - Day 3, 4 - Night ILS

The third and fourth days of a very long cross country trip. Great evening flight from Des Moines International Airport to Fort Worth Meachum, and the next day a beautiful evening to night flight to Pensacola.

See how I manage fuel calculations, and weather avoidance.

Setting sun... radio calls... cool groove... soft glow of the panel... clouds flitting over the windscreen... magic mood towards the end there. Loved it.

Great video as usual. The reason your videos are widely watched is you inform the viewer(and students like myself) what/how and why you are doing during the flight. Very useful training video. Even if - like me - we are not training in a Cirrus. Thanks again.

I thoroughly enjoy your videos for both their instructional and entertainment value. Your night approach into PNS was particularly fun to watch. Keep up the great work!

Dude, the more i watch your videos, the more impressed i am with your flying skills. You are a cool cat, very capable and a lucid thinker. Handling the ATC and the cockpit work like some veteran airline pilot. Glad i stumbled accross this channel. Thank you for taking the time to record, edit and upload these videos. I know it takes a HUGE amount of work to get these videos up to a super-high standard like this. I am motivated to pursue my PPL license. You should be a flight instructor. Would love to learn to fly with you. Respect! Best regards!

So Niko, I kind of tried your suggestion on going to a 182 then sr22.. I just flew the 182 a handful of times. The wife didn't like the 182 I was flying.. but ran into a good opportunity in a sr22.. long story short I will be done with my transition on Monday. 😯. I really have enjoyed the training and sr22. Now I am just addicted to learning more. Thank for your vids

Hi Niko enjoy the videos! I just bought my first plane SR20 with duel Garmin 430waas. I was wondering what you upgraded your top unit with. And I’m assuming you kept the bottom 430? Does the new unit sync with the old 430? Ballpark what did it cost to upgrade. Appreciate it.

Yes great stuff Niko. I've got a few questions. Do you feel safer because your plane has a built in Parachute. How much does your plane cost to buy new today. And How much money do you spend in a year roughly on your Hobby. What is your profession, job etc. What is the camera you use.
