Sigma 28-105 f2.8 vs Tamron 35-150 f2-2.8

Love my Tamron 35-150mm. It is my go to lens for weddings and some family sessions or events.

I laughed at the (rhetorical) question about using a 35mm prime AND a zoom that starts at 35/2, because I'm there, too. When I realized I was doing this, I was momentarily puzzled. But, in a reception or other close quarters indoors, I often switch from my 20-40 and 35-150 to 24/35/85 primes on three bodies because each camera is lighter, apertures are bigger, and I don't need as much reach.
FWIW, I have the Samyang 35-150, and it's very sharp wide open at 35mm. Its only real optical weakness is susceptibility to veiling flare with large areas of very bright backlighting. How's the Tamron in this regard?

When it comes to zoom, Tamron understands the target audience and has the technical resources to spec it out on a lens at a great price.

So I did use the 35-150 for a while but I really needed image stabilization since I do hybrid and I like the compressed telephoto look at 150. So I switched to the Tamron 70-180 v2

I have a 35 150 becausenof you, Taylor 😂 i love it. But something that boder me is that it isnt sharp enough... Obviously you cant have both of long range and sharpness at same lens with 1, 4k dol. I have to put 70 on Sharpening in LR and when work with sigma art 24 70 2.8 of my twin brother, my mind mind almost explods with how much details have on in 😢😂

Just get both like i did. If i did weddings though I would go with the 35-150.
