This scene right here is why people wanted jon and the night king to have a final confrontation

one of the best scenes of any tv show ever. the lack of dialogue makes this scene so good

I remember this scene It was one of my favourites, it really showed the night king as a supernatural force, an inhuman ominous foe of immense power. It made the quarrels within the world feel unimportant. This is it, this is the true enemy. They could have made the night king an amazing villain, but we got complete shit after this

The silence is the most powerful part of this scene. It really makes you feel the weight of the threat and just how alien of an enemy the Night King and his hoard is.

This show could of ended so brilliantly...

The most fantastical part of this scene isn't the horde of undead corpses rising again at the behest of the Night King, but that the person steering the boat never once looks back to see the most insanely horrific event in the history of his world taking place.

In this scene Jon finally gets it, he finally understands what they are up against. And it's as if the night king is saying "look, look what is coming for you and your people". so powerful and not a single word spoken

Best ending of an episode! No talk, no music, only the sound of the wind. The silence. Best scene

Hey, you remember Jon encountering white walkers and being the only one who actually tried to get in night kings way throughout the show?
Yeah, that was epic. Remember that staredown they had when Jon saved the wildlings? Foreshadowing the epic final fight they'd have and everyone was expecting?
Yeah... Let's make Arya kill the night king with a knife...

What I truly love about this scene is the night king nor his dead army don’t pursue Jon and the survivors. Instead, he wanted to show them a simple demonstration that sets fear into their eyes and sends a simple message to tell them that they’re coming. Of course which also clarifies the term, “winter is coming”. The symbolism in this scene without music and dialogues alone is magnificent. Definitely one of the best ever shown not only in the series but in the history of television. Just magnificent.

What makes the Night King’s and the White Walkers magic so cool is that it has such a “natural” feeling to it. All he does is raise his hands and the dead open their eyes and come back to life, joining his ranks. There’s no magical wisps or sounds or over the top aspect to it. The result is that when I watch this scene, despite it being obviously fantastical and having a mythical-like figure, it has a sort of grittiness and realism aspect to it. I can actually feel the sense of dread, and feel as though the events are plausible in the context of the show’s world. One of my all time favorite scenes ever and a prime example of making a fiction have the sense of worldliness that a nonfiction does.

You know what Night King is capable of, when he raises an army of dead as he looks straight in Jon's eyes as he sails away with others.
Unnervingly good cinematography!

I think GoT tried so hard to be unpredictable that they couldn’t settle with Jon killing Night king+Arya killing Cersei which really made the whole thing just unfulfilling for the story.

This still has got to be one of the best on screen flexes of all time

Kit Harrington's acting surprised me, it's really good. No lines, but you could see the emotions he went through when he watched the majority being left behind, being slaughtered helplessly, no way to escape, he saved so few, and then the Night King just had to put a middle finger up at him, adding all these people into his zombie could see the anger and also the defeat on Jon Snow's face, superb scene.

This is arguably the best scene in the entire show. And yes I know how huge a statement that is
