Guys, I was 16 8 years ago when I made this. Now, as a broadcaster, digital designer, Lighting Designer and audio enginer, these things make me feel like I'm still young. I really like the Mother's Rosario version of the scene in 1:16. Where they had mostly the same backgrounds but then Asuna's Status bar appears just below Yuuki's ready to support

1:19-1:30 was better for the Calibur arc. It shows the shit that Kirito had been through rather than the stuff that Yuuki and the sleeping knights did.

Brooo the nostalgia hits me really hard rn. Its been... idk, 6 years? Since i first saw this, thanks to this video i could remember what my younger self 6 years ago feel. Not only the feeling, but the vision i had, the color of the memories, the background voice i usually hear everytime i put this song on back then, it gives me chill.. thankyou for keeping this video up until now, i'll be back in another 6 years :')

To this day I cry every time I watch Mother's Rosario opening, but seeing this comparison makes it much more emotional.
It highlights in many ways Yuuki's will to live, her effort fighting an invisible fight alone and her view of the world. She fights her disease alone until Asuna joins in and make a last testimony of Yuuki's life. But not only hers, but the entire Sleeping Knights' life.
Specially 1:07 when they're crossing the gates: that's a smile of a person who's enjoying life one last time, giving it all until her little time left reaches a final conclusion.
That's a story full of love. I love this arc SO MUCH
