In this video I show you how I build my own custom Buttonbox for Flight Simulator.

Stuff i used:

- Some ON/OFF switches and ON/OFF/ON switches.
- A ''Project box'' (just a plain black plastic box)
- A simple labelmaker

Software: SV Mapper/ X-plane 11

Feel free to ask me questions.

Great video! How do you handle the 3-way switches? Forward/off/reverse or something like that?

ooo yes thank you for making the video... i been wondering if a USB Encoder would work with the SVMapper Software.... i am in the process of making my own box and i wanna try to install 2 USB Encoders into the box and plug both USB cables into my PC so i can set up 24 switches... and i saw a video where you can use SVMapper to make your toggle switches work like toggles in American truck sim so i was trying to figure out if SVMapper worked with a USB Encoder and i can see from the video it does :) thanks again

Hi thanks for sharing, I am wondering where did you open the USB joystick page on Macbook to test all the buttons and switches? I could not find it anywhere on my mac. thank you.

hey great video but i have a question. if im not wrong there is a port for 5v output in the new version of that board so could i use that to add the function of a rotatory encoder?

Do you really need the SVmapper? Does the PC sees the encoder as a joystick device?
