I love cheese. Really love it. If I can order cheese on everything, I will. I also have a friend who can't eat gluten or dairy, like one bite can kill her it's that bad. Whenever her and I go out to eat I let her pick the place (mostly because she's more aware of what places have gluten and lactose free food) and whenever I order I order gluten- and lactose free. Why? Because to me it's all about respect. I'm not doing it to be trendy, I'm doing it because I love my friend. She's asked me why I order the way I do when we eat together, and when I explained she just had the biggest smile on her face, because I'm the only one that does that. But hey, there's plus sides to it, at least this way we can both sample each other's food without the risk of anyone dying. :)

I have a cinnamon allergy, my best friend has a peanut allergy, one of my friends has a sugar allergy, another has pineapple allergy, and another has a dairy allergy...so let's just say we pick our restaurants VERY carefully.

I have Celiac Disease which is an auto immune disease and I can't eat gluten. It is severe and I have lesions in my esophagus and upper intestine. When I eat gluten I have stomach cramps to the point where I can't move and all I can do is lie on the floor and cry... when people tell me it's not real or ask me if I'm just trying to be trendy I want to scream and punch them in the face!

A restaurant that I worked at had a "gluten free" option for pastas on the menu and I looked at the head cook like "wow, really?" and he was like "no ones actually gluten free, it's just regular pasta"

People who are gluten free because they choose to most likely don't know what gluten really is.

I'm EXTREMELY allergic to mint. I'm so sick and tired of people telling me 'What do you mean you're allergic to mint?! Mint is supposed to be good for you! Just one piece of gum wont hurt!' Buddy, unless you want to be the reason I had to go to the ER because my throat closed up, I highly suggest you take your ignorance elsewhere.
