Peyton, you can never go far enough away from the love of God. He is always there and ready to catch us. I don't know what all you have been through in your life or how people in the church have treated you, but don't let those things keep you from the love of God. Sadly, some of the greatest hurt that I have in my life is because of people in the church. Sadly, that makes the worldly seem more attractive at times, but that is a trap and exactly what the devil would want.
