My heart has been closed to you God for so long. When I heard you knocking I could not let my self to open that door. So I wept on the floor of my heart wanting to get up, to reach for that door knob but I couldn’t. I was afraid that you would judge me and condemn me. I let the way others in my life treated me project a lie of the found feelings and pure intentions you have for me. But you never left that door you stood there waiting and wept with me. I just want to encourage anyone reading this that God simply wants your heart! Give Him whatever you have and lay it at his feet! He doesn’t need elaborate prayers, he just needs your heart. Give him your last sigh, your anger, your confusion, your depression, your worries, anything you have give it to him. I know people in the past have torn you apart in your vulnerabilities so you find it hard to give your heart to God but I promise you he will turn that last bit of disparity into His most beautiful art work. You have nothing to lose, lay it at His feet and he will give you rest and surpassing peace ❤ Lord grant anyone reading this healing from any trauma, bondages, sin, and their past.
