Hi Vanessa! Great lesson! I'm Brazilian and we use the word "hobby" (yes, the english form word) exactly the same. For us it is also weird to ask about hobbies in natural conversation. It sounds like a formal interview. We talk about our hobbies and we really want to know people's hobbies, but we never ask anybody for their hobbies using such a word!
I'm improving my english and you're helping me a lot!

I love listening to music when I have free time because soft or catchy melody can make my feel is better. After songs I have more positive energy to do something. I also like to eat the sweets and snacks when I'm sad. I don't know why but if I load my storm with food, my mood will be much more better ✨✨

Now responding for the question: I like to listen to music, specially when the music is from alternative rock genre, and I used to do that when I go to the gym and it makes me feel so powerfull!, and I love to go for a hike with my dog, I used to coding on my Laptop because I love to type on the keyboard new code and I want to be a great Software Developer, and finally I can tell you that I love to study and learn English with your videos, have a nice day!

I try to dedicate all my free time to learning English and workout. I also adore nature and like hiking and cycling in the park. If I need to calm down knitting and crocheting helps me.

As non-native speaker I find people sometimes are not comfortable to point out the mistakes we are making and at this point where they can understand what you are saying but you are probably saying it in a weird way. It's just getting harder to improve anymore.

OMG! This is a great exercise to brainwash our brain. It's a great way to teach English in chunks without worrying about grammar. This lessons teaches very well how to use prepositions combined with grammar in context and in a natural way. I truly believe that learning English is having the right sentences and use it in the right context at the right time. I can't wait to use these expressions. I love this method. When I have free time, I often play with my younger sister and my little brother. To be honest, they play tricks on me very often and always drive me up the wall. However, I still love them so much. On the other hand, they're so funny and adorable that I smile all the time. In addition, I love to read some pages of books each morning. Not only does it provide me with some useful information but it also helps me relaxed and thrilled.
