The federal money for the charging has GONE OUT to the states but has NOT ALL BEEN SPENT by the states for the charges. So CALCULATING THE COST FOR CHARGES by dividing the money sent to the states by the actual number of charges up and running is not correct. Yes, you can complain about the time it takes for the states to get the chargers set up but the cost per charger you state is incorrect..

According to Ohm's Law, the resistance of a wire is directly proportional to its length. This means that if the length of a wire is doubled, its resistance will also double. This relationship is linear, so a wire that is three times longer than another wire will have three times the resistance.

Fleet sales are cheaper and you're dealing with less customers. So warranty/service/total cost of delivery is all cheeper. So if their margins are thin, they can't afford to do individual sales yet

Come on guys. You know that the federal program to fund EV charging is a mess but you don't need to spin it as bad as you have here. The feds gave out money to the states and the states have been SLOWLY working it thru their spending processes to bid out to private companies to plan, install, and operate the charger ports. The fed giving to the states, who give it out to bid, to get them all build and hooked up to the grid, takes time. You can't simply divide the current federal outlay of cash into the number of completed charging stales to get a true price of these stales.
