How to calculate percent concentration | Percent mass | Percent volume | Percent mass-volume - Dr K

In this video, we will go through how to calculate percent concentration three ways - percent mass [%(m/m)], percent volume [%(v/v)] and percent mass-volume [%(m/v)].

There's a very close similarity between these three formulas, which is solute is always at the top (numerator) and solution is always at the bottom (denominator), and they are always multiplied by 100 to get the percent. Watch the video for the three formulas as well as how to apply the formulas in given examples. I will point out how to decide which formula to use.
