You can never have enough clamps right?
Absolutely, but storing them can be a nightmare, so in this video I utilise some wasted space right above my head in an attempt to sort my clamp storage out and continue bringing my workshop up to scratch. Oh, and have a little fun with editing.

Pipe can be acquired here.

I made all my pipes the same lengths and from 1” PVC pipe. (one foot). The extra clamp shafts just stick out the back side. But your idea was spot on. Thanks.

Finally a different idea for clamps storage 👍

Never thought of that way, using the other end of the clamp. My problem was loosing a lot of space on my French cleat wall, and it’s the only wall available to store it. I have a high ceiling so I have to use a longer 2x2 to extended it down to where I can reach it without grunting. Thank you Sir for the idea…..

Not only was this a great video and even enjoyable to watch but this is by far the best design for clamp storage (for my garage anyway) that I have seen. I was about to start a standard wall storage design (and then move tons of things around to find a wall to put it on) when I came upon your video. I'll be working on a similar design soon, thanks for sharing!

Fantastic idea, my workshop is a 12x8 shed and I have to maximise every square inch I can. 👍🏻

That's a very good solution for clamp storage~! I'd like to use it, but my ceilings are too high for practical storage (12'). Thanks for sharing~!

If the pipe was level, you could put a clamp in from either side ie 2 clamps per tube. (Wrote that before I saw the final product. Didn't realise that it'd be that close to the wall, or going in that direction)

Did you glue the pipes in place? If so what king of glue? Great idea, I build one this weekend but some of the pipes slide in and out so need to affix them somehow…

Great work Sir!! - I have tons of 4ft and longer pipe clamps (heavy) - what suggestions do you have to take your plan and apply to Heavy pipe clamps?

Why did u need the pipes? Could it work with just the 2 boards. Front and back? With clamps going thru them without pipes?
