I've always had really bad wrist pain. I tried jumping right into quadrobics and seriously hurt my wrists. Now, almost 3 months later, I started carefully with this tutorial and now I can actually do a quadrobics walk 😭 I am unbelievably proud, no matter how small this achievement may seem to someone else, my joint pain has always limited me

I started with this tut a few weeks after it came out. My wrists used to hurt HORRIBLY starting out. But now I'm so happy to say that they barely hurt at all when doing them!

I might come back for updates on my journey!


I am very unhealthy. And doctors say (not mine. I don't have one) find exercise you enjoy. I HATE exercising so much! But quads are the only thing I actually find joy in doing!


I'm trying to trot now. Wish me luck!

I’m a therian and my friends thought me how to do quadropics. It was so hard for me because I had never done anything like that before, now I can do quads really good, but I really wish I would have seen this tutorial earlier. Thanks for this tutorial, I got a lot better at trotting and sprinting! :3

Ok I just want to say that I have mad respect for you guys. I never understood Therians and always thought the whole concept was weird until I did some research and found out how amazing you guys actually are and how I actually fit into the community as well. The fact that you guys can actually do this sort of stuff is incredible. I'm trying to learn quads and it is very difficult, so seeing you guys do it with ease is awesome and I can't wait to get there too.

It's my 3rd day doing Quadrobics! It's really fun. I practice at least 10 mins a day. Even if I don't want to. Thank you for helping me learn Quadrobics!

This is a great tutorial!! I just have one small addition/correction, which a LOT of people get wrong. Cantering ≠ galloping/running, they're different gaits. Quadrobics stems from equestrian sports, so quadrobics gaits are actually just horse gaits! The difference is:
2🐾🐾3 / 3🐾🐾2
1🐾🐾2/ 2🐾🐾1 <- This is a canter. Two paws land at the same time, and after each 4-paw "step, " ALL paws go in the air! Your weight is more backward, on your feet more than your hands, so I find this is easier to learn than a gallop.

1🐾🐾1
2🐾🐾2 <- This is a gallop. It's essentially just many low, long jumps in sequence, though your paws should be staggered to keep better momentum. With this your weight is more forward, such that I actually have injured my shoulder and wrist doing this one! Be careful with your arms!

Honestly the best place to learn proper gaits is watching horses, or any animal for that matter. Animations can also be helpful, but be careful, because some animations might be inaccurate! I learned what I know from horse gait analysis and this one really helpful video of a cat walking, running, and even jumping. The most important thing I learned from that video: when jumping up onto something, it's okay to land feet first! Cats do it!!
