When tailwinds are BAD!

A 30 knot tailwind on a day of flying across the state was not appreciated on the way home!

Not if you're riding a pushbike! You get a headwind there, then it changes and you get a headwind all the way home as well!

The best days are when 7000 winds are 1 direction and 3000' winds are the opposite

You need to pick the best altitude. The winds are always different at different altitudes.
