Thank you so much for this video. I am currently in a college course for Web Development and Design, and we are on the chapter about making Tables in HTML and CSS. I had watched my professors tutorials, followed along with her, and hand wrote all of what she taught and something just wasnt working right when I went ahead to do our assignment for the week. Its a Case Study in our book for a fake yoga studio, and for whatever reason the CSS wasnt working. I had stressed about this for a solid two days straight when I finally said "Alright if she isnt going to help you, Youtube might!" this was the first video I clicked and I stayed to the end to see the whole thing to figure out why it wasnt working. Turns out I had my tables css in the wrong spot! You helped me out greatly!! Thank you so much!!

Also anyone who is doing this course as of November 2018 -

If you add the border-spacing 40px; and it doesn't work it may be because by default border-collapse is set to collapse (when you keep going through the video and you follow Daniel as he adds border-collapse: collapse; and it doesn't do anything this is why) so to counter that you can set border-collapse: separate; then the border-spacing will kick in.
