I think now in days we have so many arrogant and nescient folk that forget the fact that art isn’t constricted so it’s not for the narrow-minded.

Art is a form of expression, it has no rules, not everyone will understand another’s artwork but I can’t help to laugh when someone calls another individual’s work garbage. As though they’re above it all and know what “real” art is.

One of the most flawed standpoints, to act like one knows art so well but misses the major key of it all “uniqueness” which comes with forming your own perception of the world and expressing it through writing, music, sports, painting, the list goes on.

I’m also dumbfounded by those who think that how an individual relates to another’s artwork is equivalent to that individual’s intelligence. (i.e if you like this song you lack intelligence)

I always appreciate when an artist is open and honest about their wounds. I congratulate her and wish her much success in her journey.
